Living Towers is home to a 4,400 square foot, state-of-the-
art greenhouse that produces "beyond organic" lettuces,
herbs, and vegetables. We are open from 10am - 6pm,
Tuesdays and Thursdays. The produce we grow and a
variety of seedlings (see www.livingtowerseedlings.com for
details) are always available. Group tours are also available
outside of these hours. Please contact us for more

Living Towers was established in October 2010 by Dr Jan
Young ND. Jan's small idea soon became a large project, as
more and more families became aware of the importance of
locally grown foods and knowing the source of those foods.
The business is now run by Jan, her son Jason and her
daughter-in-law Dee. In October 2012, just two years after
Living Towers opened, construction began on the second
greenhouse.
Living Towers is also a prototype of the future in community
and family food production and consumption. Our food is
produced "Clean and Green" using rainwater collection and solar energy, creating the smallest possible ecological footprint. Here we grow over
5000 plants in a 2,200 square foot greenhouse. Grow these crops on the ground and you would use between a third and half an acre!
We use a water based growing system (Hydroponic) that creates its own highly oxygenated environment (Aeroponic) for the plant roots. Our plants
are grown vertically, using the latest "Tower Garden" (link to Tower Garden Page) technology and a proprietary Tower Tonic plant food. Our wide
range of ionic earth based minerals and plant nutrients allow us to grow strong, healthy, nutrient dense produce essential to vibrant human health.
At Living Towers, we blend Nature with Technology,
producing foods that "Nourish the Human Body and Spirit".
We service our local community by selling produce direct
from our farm, along with supplying organic co-ops and
food banks. Our goals include promoting buying local
organic food, as well as the sustainable living movement.
We accomplish this by teaching family growing, community
gardening, and commercial production through tours and
seminars. Eating good quality food doesn't have to cost the
earth, nor have a negative impact on the earth.
Living Towers is also a Distributor of the Tower Garden with
over 4 years of Tower Garden growing experience. Living
Towers grows thousands and thousands of seedlings each
and every week. Many are used to grow produce right
here in our greenhouse, but the majority are shipped
across the 48 contiguous states to Tower Garden owners
